Kaven Benoit Dominates The MX2 Class with a 1-1 Win in Nanaimo!

The first round of the 2014 Rockstar Energy Motocross Nationals is in the books. It was a beautiful sunny weekend in Nanaimo as riders adorned the pits for the first round of the Rockstar Energy Motocross Nationals. It was none other than Royal Distributing Fox KTM Racing Team rider Kaven Benoit who walked away with top honors in the MX2 Class. Kaven went 1-1, for 1st overall in Nanaimo, B.C. at the opening round of the Rockstar Energy Motocross Nationals. The MX1 class is stacked for 2014 with many riders joining the series from Canada and south of the border. As everyone in racing knows, you cannot win the series in the first round, but you sure can lose the championship. The first round of the series always proves to be quite difficult. Riders must get accustomed to new teams, motorcycles and the high level of competition. Both Tyler and Kevin are looking forward to the coming races. They mentioned that as long as they stay healthy and with a little bit of luck they believe they can walk away with great results and quite possibly the championship, come the final round in Walton, Ontario. Tyler Medaglia went 5-7, for 7th overall in the MX1 class in Nanaimo, B.C. Nanaimo remains to be one of the most challenging race tracks for Tyler, look for Tyler to improve his 7th place finish next round in Kamloops B.C.
